Volunteer

Volunteers are the backbone of the Blue Ridge Council’s Scouting program. They bring a wide range of skills and experiences, from teaching outdoor skills to fostering personal development and character building. Without volunteers, many of the opportunities for adventure, learning, and personal growth would not be possible, as paid staff alone cannot meet the needs. Additionally, volunteers help build strong community ties and demonstrate to our youth the values of service and leadership. Their dedication ensures that Scouting remains a vibrant, accessible, and meaningful experience for youth across the Blue Ridge Council.
